Hi ! I’m Esiri Owho, and I want to share the incredible journey that led to the birth of SirisStudio Braiding Academy. I want to use this opportunity to thank God for where he has brought me to. It’s been beyond amazing , and I’m excited to have you join me on this adventure.
It all began back in 2017 when I took a leap of faith and started SirisStudio. At the time, I was passionate about hair and knew I had something special to offer the world. So, I grabbed my combs, brushes, and sheer determination, and started by braiding boys’ hair. Can you believe it? I charged just £5 for all styles that made my clients feel on top of the world.
But my love for hair didn’t stop there. I soon realised that girls wanted in on the action too, I expanded my skills and started braiding girls’ hair, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. From braids to glamorous styles, I fell in love with making people look good and feel even better.
Now, let me share a secret with you. The foundation of my skills came from none other than my amazing mum. She taught me the basic techniques of braiding, weaving, and styling. It was a beautiful bond we shared, and I’m forever grateful for her guidance and love.
But let me spill the tea on what really gets me going. It’s seeing the joy on people’s faces and knowing that I played a part in making them feel amazing. It’s a feeling like no other, and it fills my heart with happiness. Being able to contribute to someone’s confidence and self-expression is a gift, and I cherish every moment of it.
But it wasn’t just about the technical skills. I quickly realised that customer service was the key to creating a memorable experience. So, I dedicated myself to learning the art of connecting with my clients, understanding their desires, and making them feel like the beautiful individuals they truly are. It was about more than just braids; it was about empowering people and bringing smiles to their faces.
As my reputation grew, I yearned to make an even bigger impact. I saw a need to celebrate natural hair, to embrace its beauty and diversity. That’s when I decided to open my hair collection page, a virtual haven for all the fabulous naturals out there. It became a space of inspiration, where we celebrated our unique textures and encouraged others to rock their natural hair with pride.

It did just that. With every lecture, every workshop, and every moment of growth, I felt my passion burning brighter than ever.
